Yoon & Yang’s Banking & Finance Practice Group (Group) consists of approximately 55 lawyers who have practical skills in dealing with banking and finance transactions and expertise in the finance related industry. The Group is well balanced with its work types between regulatory matters and transactional matters. While recently, Korean authorities heavily regulate banks and securities, the volume of regulatory matters are rapidly increasing, but the firm also fairly maintains its transactional advisory for banks and asset management companies.

The Group provides in-depth legal advice by recruiting not only lawyers optimized for the financial industries and capital markets, but also lawyers who have previously served for the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) of Korea. Particularly, the Group has established a system to consult and prevent issues from arising in advance by maintaining smooth communication with the Korean financial authorities such as the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) and Financial Services Commission (FSC).
