On the plaintiff side, WTW structures portfolio-based insurance solutions for law firms, litigation funders, and claimants. These solutions can protect invested capital, case expenses, attorney work-in-progress, expected fee streams, judgments, and arbitral awards while preserving participation in litigation upside. Solutions include law firm work-in-progress or "WIP" insurance, principal or capital protection insurance, judgment preservation insurance, after-the-event insurance, arbitral award default insurance, and bespoke portfolio-based insurance coverage for patent, mass tort, antitrust, and commercial litigation portfolios.

On the defense side, WTW structures adverse judgment and contingent liability insurance to ring-fence litigation exposures and facilitate M&A transactions, financings, and investments by reducing the need for escrows, reserves, and broad indemnities. WTW also advises on litigation buyouts and the transfer of asbestos and other long-tail legacy liabilities.
