Wiley has worked with the Fraud Section of the DOJ’s Civil Division Commercial Litigation Branch and has a record of successfully persuading the government not to intervene in qui tam actions and not to bring its suit after investigations. When litigation risks are high, we negotiate favorable settlements that minimize the damage and provide certainty for a client. In cases where the government or a qui tam whistleblower is unreasonable for a settlement, our litigators defend our client’s interests in federal court.
