Our respected partnership team specialises in acting for solicitors, accounts ands and other professionals in partnership, including limited liability partnerships (LLPs), and has decades of experience in solicitors and other professional practices disputes. We are routinely ranked as leaders in this area. Our experience ranges from dealing with outgoing partners and teams, advising on internal political disputes, disagreements regarding the distribution of profits and all aspects of the cut and thrust of life in professional partnerships.  The team is led by Andrew Cromby who specialises in partnership and LLP disputes. Edwina Farrell leads on medical partnerships.

The team has a substantial regulatory, compliance and disciplinary capability, as issues that often go hand in hand with partnership disputes - with acknowledged experts Susanna Heley and Nigel West advising and representing solicitors in disciplinary proceedings, including in the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and Michelle Garlick a recognised expert in Compliance issues.

The firm also regularly advises on non-contentious aspect of partnership law and has significant experience in merging and structuring professional partnerships. We can also advise on the tax consequences involved in mergers and acquisitions, succession issues and structures in partnerships, generally.
