WDA Legal’s Dispute Resolution practice represents domestic and international clients in complex commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, investor-State disputes and multijurisdictional proceedings involving Venezuela. The partner-led team acts from pre-dispute strategy and negotiation through arbitration, litigation, enforcement and related regulatory proceedings, with experience under ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, CEDCA and CACC rules. Its lawyers have represented both investors and sovereign States and combine counsel experience with appointments as arbitrators, conciliators and negotiators. The practice is active in energy and hydrocarbons, mining, infrastructure and construction, financial services, sports, technology and other regulated industries, and regularly coordinates parallel matters with U.S. and international counsel. Recent work includes ongoing investment arbitration proceedings and complex cross-border disputes, while maintaining strict confidentiality around non-public mandates.
