About

Provided by Wardyński & Partners

For many years we have advised and represented clients in administrative and judicial proceedings related to environmental protection.

We advise on regulations and requirements under Polish law, EU law and international treaties. We deal with the environmental impact of large industrial or infrastructure projects, also taking into account the cross-border perspective.

We support our clients primarily in the following areas:

·      Environmental impact assessments and impact assessments on Natura 2000 sites in the land use and development process

·      Proceedings related to cross-border impact on the environment

·      Environmental risks in the operation of large industrial plants (e.g. chemical plants), including emissions and waste management

·      Liability for environmental damage, including historical contamination

·      Liability of businesses and managers for damage to the environment or for violation of environmental law

·      Environmental aspects of non-financial (ESG) reporting

·      Participation in the greenhouse gas emission allowance trading scheme

·      Obligations involving management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and end-of life vehicles

·      Legal services for healthcare facilities.

We cooperate with lawyers from other practices (M&A, real estate, energy, criminal law, administrative law and proceedings, public procurement law). Through our multidisciplinary approach, we develop pragmatic solutions for today and the future.
