Our dedicated insolvency and business restructuring team is led by partners with over 50 years' experience in advising on all aspects of corporate recovery, insolvency litigation and personal bankruptcy. The team regularly advises insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, companies and their directors on all aspects of insolvency and restructuring. We have been particularly busy in recent years as a result of our specialism in the following areas of work:
- Insolvency litigation - we have had another excellent year, principally acting for office holders in a number of high value claims. We consider that we are the strongest firm in the South West for this type of work.
- Work in the Energy sector - We work with a number of energy suppliers, advising them on insolvency issues in their supply chain and customer base.
- Charity & Education restructuring - The team has a national reputation for its work in this sector and works regularly with leading advisory teams on major assignments. This includes work in the independent school sector, for which we have an unrivalled reputation.
