Our firm provides the full range of legal services covering all aspects of the Banking and Finance sector, such as banking, financial services, foreign currency exchange and capital markets regulation, secured and unsecured lending, public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, restructuring of financial institutions, going public and going private transactions, structured finance, trusts, among others.

We have a broad practice in cross-border financing, involving tailored structures and guarantees, and requiring creativity and knowledge from our team. The firm has been retained by virtually all multilateral companies doing business in Paraguay.

We also assist clients in the handling of collateral and implemented specific protocols and proceedings allowing borrowers to deliver collateral, the firm acting as custodian and coordinator in the management of collateral pools, registration of security agreements, among other tasks. This has permitted various foreign lenders to become more competitive vis-à-vis local financial institutions, as they are now able to provide financing with collateral that was previously not available to them, because not being present in the country.
