The environment law department gathers 2 partners and 3 associates. The team provides high value-added and innovative advice to companies operating in various sectors such as energy, industry (chemicals, agricultural food production, metals …), mining and extractive activities, and clean technologies (water and waste management), as well as to government entities.
The attorneys of the department also have a broad experience in environmental litigation before different courts and fora (civil, administrative law, criminal and constitutional litigation).
The environment law department focuses its work on three major areas:
- Management of facilities and projects, risks and pollution, which encompass support and assistance in projects development, including securing permitting proceedings, compliance issues, environmental and health issues; technological risk management; administrative and third local parties' relationship management;
- Site redevelopment, recycling, and waste-to-energy, including the development of strategies for the reconversion of industrial sites, environmental aspects of corporate and real estate transactions, the reuse of/ end of life products, waste recycling and renewable energy, and the restructuring of EPR programs;
- Sustainable management of companies and their products, including environmental reporting, hazardous product management, and regulation of substances such as biocides and nanomaterials.
