Trench Rossi Watanabe’s Venture Capital practice group is an area of focus that concentrates an expressive number of transactions and encompasses several size of deals from early-stage fund raising to more advanced rounds of investments.
The Venture Capital group assists all types of clients including start-ups, founders, private equity firms, venture capital funds, corporate venture capital funds (CVCs), private shareholders', investment banks, financial institutions, and other alternative investors, advising on the whole spectrum of private equity and venture capital deals and other similar transactions. It also supports both Brazilian and foreign investors, founder and start-ups in understanding local and cross-border transactions and main regulatory and related matters. The industry focused team provides cost efficiency and added value work to our clients through hands-on involvement and robust project management, we can address all aspects of transactions, bringing the specialist advice our clients need.
The practice draws on experts in a variety of practice areas (tax, regulatory, anti-trust, data privacy, labour, corporate, real estate, compliance, etc.) to provide integrated advice to clients about the relevant issues of the deal and works collaboratively across practices to bring the appropriate and focused advice our clients need from structuring the deal to the closing, delivering a single, cohesive solution.
