Tanner De Witt has established a leading Private Client Practice in Hong Kong under the leadership of Eddie Look, head of the firm's non-contentious Private Client Practice. Eddie advises HNW and UHNW individuals, families, trustees, family offices and private banks on wealth structuring, succession planning, trusts and estates, often involving complex cross-border and family business arrangements. The practice has grown significantly in recent years, expanding from a single fee earner to a team of four lawyers. Eddie was recognised in Doyle's Guide Hong Kong 2026 as a Recommended Leading HNW Succession Planning Lawyer and a Recommended Leading Wills, Estates & Succession Planning Lawyer.

The team advises on wills, probate and estate administration, trust structuring, succession planning, complex cross-border estates, and appointments relating to mentally incapacitated persons. Eddie's role as co-head of the firm's Corporate and Commercial Practice enables the team to provide integrated advice on personal wealth, succession and business ownership matters. Pamela oversees the firm's litigation and contentious probate practice, enabling seamless support across both advisory and dispute-related issues.

The practice is particularly recognised for its cross-border expertise, regularly advising on estates and succession matters spanning multiple jurisdictions. The team also advises on trusts, fiduciary structures, mental capacity issues, trustee governance and related disputes.
