Our Firm is pioneer in the oil industry of Guatemala. The Firm has been actively involved in this sector for over 40 years, and the expertise in the oil sector has contributed to regulatory reforms, to attract, promote and protect foreign investment in this field.  

In relation to natural resources, our Firm is a leader in mining and renewable energy solutions. Our Firm prides itself as having advised in the successful relaunching of the metallic mining sector of Guatemala.  While Guatemala had only non-metallic mining operations, a little more than a decade ago, the nickel project in northeastern Guatemala was reactivated after more than 30 years. This put Guatemala in the spotlight of the mining industry, because as the world class nickel project was being developed, other metallic mining projects (gold, silver and more nickel) emerged.  

We are part of the Mining Chamber of Commerce and are actively involved in regulatory reforms and discussions with public authorities.
