1) We assist bank before state courts. Two main issues of interest : The conflict arising from the enforcement of the CCJA decisions when they conflict with rulings of the national court of cassation, and the legality of a pre-enforcement that includes costs with no legal basis, and the legal avenues available to a litigant to challenge such an order.
2) we assist bank before state courts and CCJA Arbitration center, while working to develop an, almost, innovative recovery strategy based in placing properties under receivership, the receiver being given a court order authorizing him to pay the bank preferably from the net rental income of the properties.
3) We assist a Spanish holding company negotiating with the State of Ivory to create and operate a solar energy plant. We delivered legal opinions regarding their own share capital ownership in line with the ECOWAS regulation on business competition and concentration.
4) We had to deliver a legal opinion before litigating on a maritime insurance contract to determine if, in a very particular case as it was, the contract was covering the risks in the goods' transportation, stevedoring and handling operations.
