SGR represents in toxic tort and environmental clean-up litigation, enforcement actions, hazardous waste clean-ups, landfill issues, and environmental citizen suits. They regularly advise on environmental aspects of business and financial transactions, such as mergers/acquisitions and real estate transactions, with substantial experience in emerging renewable energy development. The group’s attorneys prepare and negotiate environmental language in agreements, coordinate and assist in environmental due diligence, and advise in permit acquisitions/transfers and regulatory compliance status of the selling entity.
