On the corporate side, we advise on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, as well as the competition law issues raised in multinational M&A; capital markets matters; and banking transactions. We provide the full range of international dispute resolution services across the region, and we also counsel on internal investigations; enforcement actions; and related governance, disclosure and litigation matters. Our attorneys also focus on a wide range of energy and infrastructure projects and real estate-related transactions. The firm has handled matters in Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Skadden has a highly regarded M&A practice with a renowned Greater China platform and extensive experience representing major businesses in US take-private transactions. Acknowledged in this space for its outbound acquisition work, the firm is particularly active for clients in the TMT sector and also handles mandates on behalf of insurance, retail, and oil and gas companies. It works closely with its US corporate group, with clients also benefiting from its market-leading US-based CFIUS practice. The firm also maintains a respected practice in the private equity sphere, particularly in North Asia, and a strong corporate offering in Korea and Japan.
