Shepherd and Wedderburn’s Real Estate Litigation team has long been recognised as one of the leading property disputes practices in Scotland, complementing the strength of the firm’s market-leading Real Estate team. The team is headed by Colin Archibald, who is recognised for his experience in handling high value, complex litigations.


Working with the Real Estate team, we advise on a full range of property dispute work, from complex property contract disputes, dilapidations claims, landlord and tenant issues, title disputes and rural property claims, to volume debt recovery work. 

We are highly experienced and draw on strong technical skills and sound commercial awareness to deliver pragmatic, solutions-focused results for our clients.

Our client roster extends from large corporates, public and third sector organisations to SMEs, estate owners and high net worth individuals, and includes commercial landlords and tenants, house-builders, developers, retailers, utilities, funders and local authorities.
