Established in Aden by the late Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah in 1927, the firm is the oldest and most established law firm in Yemen. Over its years of practice the firm has become the leading Yemen law firm providing legal services both at home and abroad.

The firm is joint council with top ten world ranked law firms on a number of ICC arbitrations, and recently exclusively negotiated and closed a two billion dollar facility with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in favour of the Yemen Central Bank.

The firm continues to monopolise international legal work in Yemen representing almost all oil and oil service companies, telecommunication companies, and are honorary legal advisors to a number of embassies and international missions.
