Seyfarth Shaw offers an “inception to completion” service for construction clients throughout all phases of the construction process. Although we have traditionally maintained a strong litigation dimension to the practice, our expertise extends to all non-contentious aspects of construction project development and government contracts work. Our client roster features a large number of contractors and engineers. We have extensive government contracts expertise representing both private parties contracting with the government and government entities. Significant expertise includes, handling protests, claims, and litigation. International work is a growing feature of the practice, and we continue to successfully expand our relationships with foreign construction companies and project owners operating overseas working on some of the largest international projects.

Seyfarth’s Washington, D.C. group forms the largest part of the firm’s national Construction Practice. We are particularly strong in handling large, complex project disputes such as those involving stadiums, infrastructure developments, power plants and wastewater treatment centers.
