Selmer has advised clients in the largest transactions, negotiations and disputes on the Norwegian continental shelf in recent years. We are recognized for our superior counsel provided in projects such as the unitisation of the giant Johan Sverdrup field, the tariff dispute in the Gassled case, the handling of the failed Yme project, the transfer of licenses in fields such as Goliat and Yme and infrastructure such as Gassled.

We have extensive experience with international assignments in which one or more of the parties are located outside Norway, and have accumulated considerable international expertise which puts Selmer in a sole position to assist foreign clients in establishing operations and executing acquisitions on the Norwegian continental shelf.

We also have considerable experience in providing legal advice to the service industry in Norway related to transactions, EPC and fabrication agreements, shipbuilding agreements, rig agreements and other contractual assignments.
