Schalast's M&A department has a long track record of advising on corporate transactions and company law issues. The department consists of professionals with many years of experience in the management of complex M&A processes and, in some cases, managing companies. Some members have also advised supervisory boards of both listed and unlisted companies, gaining valuable practical experience. This experience and legal know-how has enabled Schalast to advise both SMEs and large companies successfully for many years on M&A and private equity transactions, as well as corporations and partnerships nationally and internationally on all company law issues. In Venture Capital, Schalast has years of experience managing various processes in the start-up lifecycle, from founding and early-stage financing to exit, and maintains a broad network of investors, including business angels, accelerators, incubators, and VCs.
Recent work highlights
· 2024 – once again – was the most successful year of the Schalast M&A practice – against the decreasing worldwide M&A market – with highlights such as the Isoplus transaction (Viessmann) and other > EUR 500 Mio. Viessmann transactions, the cross border Vamed MEP or data center in the Frankfurt metropolitan area.
