Pullman & Comley's Energy & Natural Resources practice focuses on large-scale renewable energy projects, energy storage systems, and distributed generation installations. The practice brings together attorneys across various disciplines to serve clients in the growing and evolving areas of climate change, sustainability, alternative energy, distributed generation, renewable energy credits and trading, carbon trading, energy storage, greenhouse gas initiatives and project finance.
Our attorneys serve on a number of working groups and committees that are developing the future paradigms of this industry, including the International Council of Shopping Centers’ Sustainable Energy and Environmental Design (SEED) initiative, the Energy Bar Association, the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association, the Connecticut Power and Energy Society, the Air and Waste Management Association, the Responsible Property Investing Coalition, and the Connecticut Business and Industry Association’s Energy and Environment Council.
Attorneys in this practice have extensive experience before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, the Connecticut Siting Council, the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, as well as similar agencies throughout the East Coast.
