Preu Bohlig & Partner supports pharmaceutical and medical devices companies throughout the entire product life cycle from R&D, approval or certification to product launch, marketing, advertising and market surveillance. This includes, among other things, support with product launches, including product design and advertising, as well as comprehensive assistance with approval/certification procedures under German and European law – regarding pharmaceuticals, both in centralised and decentralised procedures (regulatory affairs).

A particular focus is on advising generic and biosimilar drug manufacturers, especially on market access issues, in demarcation and approval conflicts, and in disputes concerning document protection or supplementary protection certificates. In addition, the firm assists in the planning and legal review of advertising campaigns in accordance with the German Advertising of Medicinal Products Act (HWG) and the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG), advises on compliance issues and represents clients in competition law proceedings – both in preliminary injunction proceedings and in main proceedings. Representation in patent infringement proceedings is also part of the service portfolio.
