Posse Herrera Ruiz´  International Trade and Customs area is active in  analyzing international treaties regarding double taxation and free trade, the development and approval of free-trade zones and the structuring of investment and private equity funds, trade remedies, regulatory permits, and advisory in international trade and customs and custom litigation. 

The firm is  increasingly involved in a  number of international trade and import tax and export efficient strategies, including the application of a new Customs Decree, which will help big import/export companies make their Colombia operations more efficient.

The firm has implemented several high profile Free Trade Zones incluiding offshore trade zones on behalf of global Oil & Gas corporations.
