The Intellectual Property Department is composed by an experienced and coordinated team of lawyers, most of them completely devoted to advice national and international clients in their IP needs. The IP team comprises lawyers graduated from the best Chilean law schools, most of them specialized in the most prestigious Chilean and foreign universities and many of them being professors in courses related to IP matters.
This solid group advises clients in the prosecution and litigation of Intellectual Property rights, including patents, trademarks, utility models, industrial designs, copyrights, domain names, advertising, plant varieties, anti-counterfeiting actions, drafting of contracts, and enforcement and litigation related to those rights.
This team offers as well specialized counsel in several IP related areas such as franchising, distribution and free competition. Same can be said in the areas of food law, entertainment law and transfer of technology, especially in its very close work as patent counsel for some of the main Chilean universities.
This department includes as well a qualified technical staff and scientists experienced in all fields of science and technology, many of them former examiners at the Chilean Patent Office.
