Our Dispute Resolution team is well-versed in a wide range of industries and areas of the law. Our team is led by two partners who guide eleven qualified associates with valuable experience in these matters. Our main clients are leading players in key industries, including energy and mining, oil and gas, banking and finance, utilities, engineering and construction, retail, real estate, technology and social media. Many of our most prominent clients are multi-national companies.

Our team’s core specialty is twofold. On the one hand, we have robust experience handling arbitration proceedings in Colombia and abroad, under the rules of the world’s leading arbitral institutions. On the other hand, complex litigation in all sort of matters and in virtually every area of the law.

We are equipped to deal with practically every sort of dispute, at any stage of a case. From inception, where we can counsel on risk prevention and management, to completion with a final award or ruling. We are also vastly experienced in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms like mediation and dispute boards.

We have been successful in contractual disputes (e.g. disputes related to commercial agency/distribution contracts, transportation, EPC contracts, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, concession contracts and supply agreements), as well as tort-liability disputes, including class actions (“acciones de grupo”) and actions for the protection of collective rights ("acciones populares").
