Our firm is unique in the Irish market in that it was built on competition and European law as a core practice area. We advise on cutting edge competition issues and provide regulatory law advice to a wide range of organisations, but particularly those in the energy, telecommunications and construction sectors.

We have developed a particular niche practice in defending cartel and competition law prosecutions by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (formerly the Competition Authority) and the Irish Director of Public Prosecutions. We have successfully defended clients from the private sector, including in energy and agriculture. Indeed, we defend more criminal prosecutions and are involved in more cases in competition law enforcement than any other law firm in Ireland.
