Pérez-Llorca’s Energy team advises public and private entities on matters with a Spanish or international component. Our advice includes:

Administrative proceedings and legal defence: advice on administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings related to the most significant amendments to regulation in the sector. If necessary, we also provide defence counsel for these types of proceedings.
Advice on contract negotiation and other obligations: advice to natural gas suppliers on supply contracts and obligations to submit information to the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, the Spanish Corporation of Strategic Reserves of Oil-based Products (CORES) and the Spanish National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC). We also provide advice on processing authorisations and communications with the relevant bodies.
Project Finance: advice on renewable energy project finance (photovoltaic, thermosolar, biomass and wind plants), natural gas and electricity, due diligence for investment funds and private equity companies, contract negotiation, O&M contracts, EPC contracts (turnkey projects), etc.
