O’Farrell boasts a strong Public Law and Economic Regulation Area that advises clients from heavily regulated markets and helps them with administrative claims against the Argentine state in both federal and local levels.

Among its recent work, the firm developed a European Union funded project about “Description of purchasing regulations and processes and public procurements in Argentina”.

We advised Naturgy SA in the process of execution and fulfilment of the license renegotiation agreement regarding natural gas distribution in the city of Buenos Aires and in the north of Buenos Aires Province. It also gives legal advice in administrative and constitutional matters to telecommunication companies. 

The firm also advises Grupo Concesionario del Oeste S.A. and Autopistas del Sol S.A. The firm assisted these firms in the renegotiation until the approval of the comprehensive agreement that terminates the process and in the renegotiation of the concession contract with the National State respectively.

O’Farrell also coordinates, along with the Ministry of Transportation, a drafting of a regulatory framework for CELADI.
