The Banking & Finance Practice Group represents one of our core pillars, advising on syndicated lending, acquisition financing, NPL transactions, various debt financing arrangements, and banking, investment management and securities regulatory matters.
In recent years, the group was involved in numerous prominent acquisition transactions, many of them including several banks and/or international institutions. A prominent part of our Banking & Finance Group is also advising potential bidders on the purchase of sub-prime receivables. In 2015 Slovenian banks started to sell their portfolios of NPL’s and ODI is regularly involved in advising potential purchasers on such transaction. ODI is also continuously advising clients on individual NPL sales, including transactions using LMA standards.
Throughout the years ODI has been involved in almost all of the largest and most complex financial restructurings of Slovenian companies (e.g. Cimos, Intereuropa, MKZ, MLM, Hidria, ACH, Tuš, Kras, Istrabenz, Mura, ZVON-1, SCT, Kraški Zidar, CPM, Konstruktor).
