With the opening of our Ho Chi Minh City office in 2010, we were the first Japanese law firm to open an office in Vietnam. Shortly after, in 2010, we opened our Hanoi office.  Since the establishment of our Vietnam offices, we have been involved in a wide range of matters and industries in Vietnam, including infrastructure, oil & gas, urban development/real estate, corporate finance, project finance, M&A, new business entry, joint venture, labor matters, environmental matters, crisis management, dispute resolution.

We provide a full range of real estate services to some of the notable foreign companies operating in Vietnam. Recent publishable work highlights include:

• Advised Tokyu Corporation, together with Becamex IDC Corp., in their urban development in Binh Duong Province, Vietnam, a project worth approximately 1 billion US dollars.
• Advised Pacific Petroleum Import Export Trading Joint Stock Company and its founder and key shareholder on the transfer of 51% of the company’s LPG business to Air Water Inc.
