Employment

The team is led by Joanne Kavanagh, who has been ranked in Chambers since her appointment as Head of Employment at Morrisons in 2011.  Since her appointment, Joanne has built up a growing portfolio of corporate clients including PLCs and SMEs. 

The team provides advice across all of the firm’s offices which means that unlike many other law firms, we are ‘local’ to clients across Surrey and South London.

All members of the team advise on the full range of employment law services acting for businesses (the majority of our work) and private clients, particularly those of high net worth. We all deal in non contentious work (contracts, handbooks etc.) and on employment disputes up to and including tribunal representation. 

The team is continuing to build niche expertise on TUPE matters, to include outsourcing in conjunction with our commercial team. We are also advising on restrictive covenant matters and where appropriate, High Court proceedings in which counsel is instructed.
