About

Bolivia is widely recognized in Latin America for having significant reserves of gas and oil as well as mineral resources. Likewise, Bolivia’s government has been recently investing in the construction of photovoltaic plants, wind parks and the development of lithium plants, granting alternative energies importance in public investments.  We advise clients on these matters on a day-to-day basis.

Our team has developed outstanding experience advising world’s leading oil & gas and mining companies during two key moments in Bolivian history: the privatizations carried out in the 1990s and the nationalization process initiated in 2006 along with the modifications in the regulatory legal framework.

We are proud to be advising a leading South Korean corporation in the construction of a state factory of urea and ammonia in Bolivia, the largest project of industrialization of natural gas so far undertaken in the country, with an investment of more than one billion dollars.

As well, we are currently representing a leading European corporataion which was awarded with a one hundred million dollars contract for the provision of wind turbines and the construction of three eolic parks in the country.
