The real estate and infrastructure work that is carried out by Morales & Besa can be divided into two main work areas: transactional and regulatory.
Our work ranges from financial support through real estate credits, sales, purchase option leases and the issuance of different type of guaranteed debts with real estate, as well as the study of land titles.
Our transactional work includes active involvement in the structuring, negotiation and execution of relevant contracts and agreements, due diligence review, financing of projects, permitting and a wide variety of other activities that we undertake for our client investors, developers, lenders, vendors, and contractors.
Our Regulatory work involves the provision of in-depth knowledge in all aspects impinging upon real estate development, urban development, zoning regulations, infrastructure concession, public bidding, permitting, specific sector regulatory issues of the relevant industries including tenders for public works concessions, toll roads, hospitals, airports or ports.
In addition to our full service on the laws and regulations of Chile, we also provide our clients with fluid access to local infrastructure regulators and financing.
We have an extensive experience in construction agreements (e.g. EPC, O&M, TSA, BOP and EPCM).
