The California team, located in both San Francisco and San Diego, handles patent prosecution and strategic counselling, for marquee companies from around the world and for leading academic and research institutions. The team has grown significantly this past year, now counting 45 partners, associates and patent agents. The group has purposefully grown its bench in the patent agent ranks to more efficiently provide filing and prosecution services, simultaneously increasing our capacity for and the volume of more strategic services for clients, inclusive of pre-litigation analysis, competitive landscaping, freedom-to-operate and more. The technical breadth and depth of the team is remarkable, spanning the life sciences (including biology, biochemistry, and organic chemistry), medical technology, AI, and the electrical, mechanical and materials arts.
