About

Provided by Millar McCall Wylie

We have an established Family and Matrimonial Department  with a strong reputation across the full spectrum of family and matrimonial matters, grounded on its renowned commercial reputation and offering a rounded service for clients.  The Department is led by Clare Lenaghan,  who was previously a specialist family/matrimonial barrister,  and long standing  partner, Caroline Prunty,  and  offers a unique value to clients in terms of generating costs efficiencies and providing a comprehensive service .  The Department has acted in many confidential high-net-value matrimonial cases, including those which might otherwise have attracted much publicity, and it  prides itself on preserving the confidentiality and privacy of the  parties involved.  There are few  Family/Matrimonial Departments  in Northern Ireland  which have two  practitioners with the depth of  knowledge and experience  of Clare and Caroline .  We have  the capacity to handle a high caseload of complex cases,  and we continue to see an  expansion of high net worth  divorce and ancillary relief cases  and referrals from other jurisdictions, in particular, England and Wales. We believe that we are leaders  in the provision of  advice  on  pension relief  upon  divorce.  We have the ability to  draft  detailed  and complex financial Agreements and  pension Orders in house.  The firm is also a member of Reunite and continues to receive instructions and referrals in  difficult  Hague Convention and Brussels II bis case.
