Our Corporate and Commercial Law group is a key advisor to client management teams. For private corporations, public entities and Crown corporations, we provide comprehensive services and advice on changing business environments.  We serve a wide range of industries including mining and natural resources, higher education, agriculture, agri-foods and agri-business, transportation, manufacturing, construction, healthcare and non-profits.  We have significant experience representing financial institutions, venture capital companies and public companies on financing and raising capital, public offerings and private placements. Our experience includes counsel to private businesses and large institutions in ongoing commercial and financing transactions, including commercial agreements (franchise, licensing, etc.), transitional services, regulatory implications, security agreements and shared facilities/services arrangements. We also work with community-based groups and large enterprises to prepare prospectuses and other securities financing documents.  We have experience in representing a wide range of vendors and purchasers in the sale and acquisition of businesses, both domestic and international, from private companies to large institutions.
