What the Team is Known For

Matheson has a formidable reputation in banking and finance. It advises many of Ireland's major retail banks and other financial institutions on all aspects of lending, investment and asset finance matters. The law firm has particular expertise in commercial real estate and development finance. It also assists lenders with the negotiation of bilateral, club deal and syndicated loan facilities. The law firm is regularly active on DCM matters, acting as issuer's counsel on a variety of bond issuances and CLOs as well as asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitisations. Matheson is further recognised as an important presence in aviation finance and has notable additional experience in major financial restructurings.
