We serve clients out of our headquarters in Buenos Aires and our Patagonia office in the Province of Neuquén (i.e., the province in which the world class shale oil and gas formation known as “Vaca Muerta” is located).  We are the first and only fully integrated law firm to have an office in the City of Neuquén.

MHR is the only law firm that acts as adviser to the two Chambers of the Oil Industry in Argentina.

We dominate the M&A market for energy-related projects.  In the last 12 months, MHR was the only law firm in Argentina to represent clients in significant M&A deals in the three segments of the oil & gas industry (upstream, midstream and downstream), involving companies such as ExxonMobil-Qatar Petroleum; Trafigura and Pan American Energy-Axion.

In addition to having represented clients in a farm-in and farm-out deals, as well as in connection with early production facilities in unconventional hydrocarbons blocks, we advised clients in the two most important mid-stream projects involving the construction of a crude oil pipeline by YPF and a gas pipeline by TGS to exhaust production from Vaca Muerta blocks.
