The Maples Group's Restructuring and Insolvency team has continued to be involved in the most complex and high-profile insolvency and restructuring matters in Ireland.
They compete at the top of the market, delivering a high-quality service to clients on a regular basis. They work in conjunction with, or on the other side of, the firms that are involved in most major Irish insolvencies in one capacity or another.
On the non-contentious side, they act for aircraft leasing groups, private equity firms and asset managers on certain aspects of transactions in Ireland. This includes advice on the impact of insolvency processes in general in Ireland and advice in relation to implementing bankruptcy remoteness structures.
In addition, they act on a significant number of solvent liquidations. In particular, they advise investment companies and special purpose vehicles on the process involved in winding up structures and investment funds on a solvent basis in Ireland.
They also continue to advise many domestic and international financial institutions.
