The Firm is known for handling very complex legal issues in all aspects of maritime law.

The firm handles ship registration on behalf of major international ship owners (tanker, dry bulk and container ships). This is coordinated mainly by Nicholas Valenzia and his team.

The firm is also involved in setting up complex corporate structures relating to the ownership and operation of vessels (yachts included). The firm is currently involved in the setting up of a bulker pool for European clients wishing to tap the dry bulk market through a joint effort.

The firm (through Joseph Camilleri and Nicholas Valenzia attending on technical matters) also handles various litigation engagements mainly relating to the arrest and repossession of ships and matters relating to the safe operation of Maltese ports. Joseph Camilleri and Nicholas Valenzia are currently handling major litigation relating to overspray and blasting residue damage on superyacht Martha Ann (77 Meter Lurrsen).

Nicholas Valenzia and his team also handle various legal matters relating to super yachts and focus particularly on sale and purchase and corporate/fiscal structures.
