The group is led by two talented and respected partners: Otto Licks, who in himself is a big draw and an established global figure for his knowledge, creativity, and track record; and Eduardo Hallak, is the other established figure of the group. He is known for his strategic planning that sets the path to many high-profile victories. Appellate Judge (ret.) Liliane Roriz also leads the group, with an extensive experience in the 2nd Specialized IP Panel at TRF2. Liliane Roriz acted as rapporteur and judge in unprecedented cases related to the Brazilian IP system, such as the applicability of the TRIPS agreement, the validity term of patents and several other highly complex cases.

Partners Carlos Aboim, Rodrigo Maior, Felipe Mesquita and Viviane Kunisawa are heavily involved in the practice. The recent growth within the firm allowed us to promote six associates to partner: Douglas Leite, Roberto Carapeto, Ricardo Campello, Juliana Neves, Tatiana Machado and Roberto Rodrigues. These six individuals are also heavily involved as well as considered experts in life sciences and represent the home-grown talent that the firm prides itself on cultivating.
