Overview

Our Dispute Resolution team is known for its ability to conduct commercial dispute work effectively, using innovative products and fee structures to service those needing assistance. As a team we have significant experience of international and cross-border litigation, jurisdiction disputes, joint venture and shareholder disputes, share purchase and warranty claims, banking disputes, trust litigation, LLP and partnership disputes, utilities litigation, construction disputes, competition enquiries and civil fraud. We have litigated cases at every level in the English courts, through to the Supreme Court and the European Court of Justice.

This year we unveiled LS Unlock, a new way for our clients to pursue claims. The product delivers cost certainty and allows us to partner with clients, sharing risk and reward in appropriate cases.

Our approach is to draw upon partners and qualified lawyers from across the entire firm, forming specialist groups tailored to meet the demands and issues arising in any case. For shareholder disputes, for example, we frequently create bespoke teams composed of lawyers from our dispute resolution, employment and corporate teams. These hand-picked teams give our clients the edge, time and again, over those who continue to adopt a siloed approach.
