The Commercial Litigation department at Levy & McRae advises on a wide range of commercial disputes. The practice is particularly noted for its experience in professional negligence, insolvency, product liability, partnership disputes, commercial property litigation and fraud.

The department’s work includes Scottish and international commercial litigation, and complex multi-jurisdictional disputes. More than half of the department’s current work is undertaken on behalf of foreign clients.

We regularly benefit from referrals from other law firms who find themselves unable to act for existing clients through conflict as well as acting for the law firms themselves.

Current instructions include the highest value professional negligence claim ever brought before the Scottish Courts, defence of a multi-jurisdictional product liability claim and a complex engineering dispute.
