Overview
The team comprises over 80 people, including 28 qualified lawyers and 22 paralegals. It employs two former nurses who assist our understanding complex medical issues and three in–house accountants whose role is to maximise our clients’ damages claims and provide guidance where loss-of-earnings and business profits claims are complex.
The team has an excellent reputation amongst barristers, experts and case managers. The team’s 30 years’ experience means that it works with the best barristers and external experts, advising on medical, technical, and quantum issues.
Clients who have suffered major trauma are represented by qualified solicitors and partners with decades of experience with a focus on ensuring the injured get the best rehabilitation to maximise their recovery, alleviating financial hardship caused by their injury and the best possible outcome.
For the past 18 years Leigh Day’s personal injury team has provided exclusive legal support to members of British Cycling and the British Triathlon Federation.
