Energy work is a key area of focus for us. LEGATE advise three out of the 20 largest non-financial enterprises in Slovakia, all of which are major energy players. Our practice extends to assisting multinational, Pan-European oil and gas companies and public entities. We estimate that work on behalf of energy sector clients accounts for approximately 25 % of the firm’s total revenues. 

In pursuance of energy projects we are fully responsible for comprehensive legal counselling (including the pre-project analysis) necessary for successful implementation and also subsequent management of the project itself (we manage implementing team in charge for duly and timely project completion) including solving unexpected and sudden legal issues.

Our practice mostly covers EPC contracts (in forms of LSTK or cost plus fee), construction contracts (DBOF, BOOT, OBE and occasionally FIDIC contracts), related arbitration and regulatory issues.
