Provided by Lawson + Lawson LLP
Lawson + Lawson’s Employment Law Practice has been advising employers and representing them in litigation for more than 15 years. Within five years of its founding, the firm was named to the San Francisco Business Times list of the Top 100 Women-Owned Businesses in the Bay Area (top 50 for San Francisco).
Our litigators have successfully represented employers ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies in cases involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour claims, and wrongful termination. Our partners have successfully tried multiple cases to state and federal court juries. We regularly counsel clients on employee discipline and termination, personnel policies, wage-and-hour compliance, and litigation avoidance. We also regularly conduct neutral investigations of alleged workplace misconduct.
Before forming Lawson + Lawson, Lisa Lawson practiced employment defense at Orrick and Paul Hastings. She has served on the Executive Committee of the California State Bar’s Labor and Employment Law Section and as Chair of the Employment Law Practice Area Committee for the National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF).
