The firm has represented national and foreign clients in development activities, construction, operation and financing of hydroelectric generation, thermoelectric (gas. coal and oil), solar plants, wind farms, biomass and geothermal energy, in projects of electricity transmission, gas storage and regasification and in gas pipeline projects.

We have advised on privatization of state companies, acquisition, alienation and liquidation of energy generation and transmission companies. Likewise, we have advised different clients in their relationship with authorities and in administrative and judicial processes, before the panel of experts and the ordinary courts of justice, arbitration and protection of free competition.

Larrain has been involved in projects advising companies all the way from exploration to title work to structuring joint ventures and project finance, as well as environmental, corporate and regulatory tax matters, and has also acted for banks in project financing mining and energy operations.
