English insurers have hired Vidar Ludviksson to handle claims made against them under D&O policies purchased by Landsbanki Islands hf., which entered winding-up proceedings. The ongoing cases (lodged in 2011 and 2012) are landmark cases and among the largest and most complex in Icelandic civil procedure.  They were followed closely by the U.K. insurance market and were the longest in Icelandic legal history.

Landslog act for the Central Bank in a high-profile case brought by the international fishing company Samherji for compensation for alleged loss in relation to the Central Bank's investigation.

Landslog handle a 250-participant class action, lodged in October 2015, the first of its kind in Iceland, against the former largest owner of the Landsbanki Islands bank.

Landslog acted for K2 Agency Ltd. (a U.K. based artist agency) in collecting a claim owed by a music festival producer in Iceland to the heavy metal band Slayer.

Landslog were lead counsel in arbitration proceedings on behalf of Landsvirkjun (The National Power Company) against Elkem International for the determination of power prices to a ferrosilicon plant in Iceland.

Landslog acted for the international construction company Munch in successful arbitration proceedings against the National Hopital in Iceland.

Landslog acted for Isavia in relation to their dispute with Air Lease Corporation USA regarding Isavia's impounding of ALC's Airbus A320 aircraft.
