Our corporate practice includes all kinds of legal matters related to the activities of Mexican companies, such as: their organization, the decision-making process, corporate management and governance, mergers, acquisitions, divestments, dissolutions, purchase and sale of assets; corporate finance, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments and corporate reorganizations.

We also interpret and apply the current regulations for industrial sectors such as high technology, telecommunications, auto parts and pharmaceutical, among others.

Our team of lawyers has broad experience in the acquisition and sale of every kind of Mexican companies sectors and the implementation of shareholder control transfer and asset sales mechanisms. We have acted as advisors for investment funds, selling shareholders, purchasing shareholders and the target companies themselves.

We structure, implement and close company mergers, stock acquisitions and the purchase and sale of ongoing business concerns. 

We have been actively involved in the privatization processes of some of Mexico’s leading industrial and financial companies.

As a part of our mergers and acquisitions practice, we prepare concentration filings before the Federal Competition Commission and obtain other regulatory approvals.
