We undertake a full range of enforcement, management and transactional matters. We advise foreign and local clients on the registration, clearance, protection and exploitation of Intellectual Property rights, as well as manage and co-ordinate our clients’ Intellectual Property portfolios in Sri Lanka. We represent clients before the National Intellectual Property Office (NIPO) in respect of application, registration, ex parte and/or opposition inquiry, recording of assignment, recording of license, renewal of registration etc. of trademarks/patents or industrial designs to overcome objections. We also undertake Intellectual Property audits and due diligence exercises and also file trademark applications with the Sri Lanka Customs. We also attend to all IP enforcement.
